Local Place Plans
Local Place Plans (LPPs) are community-led plans, introduced by the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019,
setting out proposals for the development and use of land. The plans set out a community’s
aspirations for its future development. Once completed and then registered by the planning
authority, they are to be taken into account in the preparation of the relevant local development
plan.
Beneath is a copy of the Cameron Local Place Plan Report 2024 which has been verified and registered by Fife Council. The proposals contained in our Local Place Plan are being assessed for consideration in a new Local Development Plan, due to be published for consultation in 2026. We would like to thank all the many Cameron residents who contributed their thoughts and ideas in 2023 and 2024.
