Local Place Plans

Local Place Plans

Local Place Plans (LPPs) are community-led plans, introduced by the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019,
setting out proposals for the development and use of land. The plans set out a community’s
aspirations for its future development. Once completed and then registered by the planning
authority, they are to be taken into account in the preparation of the relevant local development
plan.

Beneath is a copy of the 2024 Local Place Plan Report currently out for consultation together with copies of the leaflets on the matter distributed to local residents in 2023 and 2024. There is also a copy of the Pre-Submission Notice, required legally. Finalisation of an updated local development plan for Cameron will be confirmed as and when available.
